Ragged Old Flag - With cover By Brian Harris

Ragged Old Flag - With cover By Brian Harris
Ragged Old Flag is the 46th album by American country music singer Johnny Cash, released on Columbia Records in 1974 (see 1974 in music). The album addresses several political as well as ethical issues, not unlike many of Cash's other releases. The title track, and simultaneously the only single from the album, is a spoken word tribute to patriotism amid the Watergate scandal. "Don't Go Near the Water" addresses another hot political issue of the time, the environment. All of the songs on the album were composed by Cash, save "I'm a Worried Man" by himself and June Carter Cash.

"So this fire station takes care of Indian Hills and my neighborhood, and some neighborhoods ! down on Hamilton east of us... I think its good to have (the central fire station) there." Resident Craig Kelley said the fire station and men and women who work there play a large role in the community. "It's used a lot, I mean there's a lot of traffic from it," Kelley said. "And they're good neighbors, I mean they're real good people. I would like to see them stay personally." The station in question is, in fact, the oldest one in the township and therefore many of the township officials have argued ...
